Just five minutes from the town of Hoedspruit and Hoedspruit Private Hospital, our private cottage offers a relaxed and comfortable space for up to four guests in the Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate. Whether you're here for the wildlife, the scenery, or simply a change of pace, Hoedspruit Bush Cottage is a great base to enjoy it all.
We’re all about keeping things simple, friendly, and laid-back. Located within a secure estate, our cottage gives you the peace of the bush with the convenience of town just around the corner. You'll find everything you need for a stress-free stay, a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, free Wi-Fi, and plenty of outdoor space to kick back and enjoy the view.
Our spacious cottage sleeps up to four guests and includes two air-conditioned bedrooms on the ground floor. The main bedroom features a queen-size bed and a private, covered outdoor bathroom. The second bedroom has a king-size bed that can be converted into two singles. There's also a full indoor bathroom with a corner bath, shower, double vanity and toilet. All linen and towels are provided.
The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge-freezer, gas hob, microwave, toaster, and all the crockery and cutlery you might need. There’s a cosy lounge with comfy couches, a Smart TV, and uncapped Wi-Fi for easy streaming.
Step outside to a covered patio with a built-in braai and a plunge pool, the perfect place to cool off while watching free-roaming game and birdlife. A shaded, secure parking bay for one vehicle is provided right next to the house, and there’s also a raised wooden deck accessed by an outside staircase, ideal for birdwatching or sundowners.

This is a great place to stay in Hoedspruit. Lots of wildlife, safe and everything you would need. Great food and Supermarkets within minutes’ drive. Henk is extremely organised with information. Well done.
Henk’s space is lovely, and it was very cool to be staying on the wildlife estate, we saw several zebra just on our drive in! We really appreciated how very responsive Henk was. When we locked our keys in the car as we were packing up to head out, he responded immediately when I texted him to tell him about our predicament and proactively and quickly generated the permission code we needed for the tow truck to gain access to the wildlife estate. Henk’s help made a stressful situation that much easier to resolve. I highly recommend this Airbnb and Henk as a host!
A lovely house in a great setting. It is easy to find and just off the road which gives added privacy. Check-in was a breeze! Enjoyed the visit of the duikers and warthog in the morning. Even had time to do a short game drive! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
